I’m Elle Morse, the writer behind Hypatia’s Muse. This is where I explore the questions that connect technology, philosophy, and the experience of being human.
My professional background is in banking compliance and risk, with more than two decades of experience in the field. Alongside that work, I founded Babies Need Boxes, a nonprofit inspired by Finland’s baby box tradition. My writing has also extended into family policy, including a paper for the Danube Institute on a proposed baby box programme in Hungary.
Here, those interests share a shelf with reflections on womanhood, relationships, books, and the choices that shape our lives. I’m interested in how systems affect people—and in the stories that help us see beyond the systems.
